PRODUCT INFORMATION
General Description
A unique and rare secondary mineral found in the oxidized zones of some uriniferous copper deposits. Named in 1793 by Abraham Gottlob Werner in honour of Torbern Olof Bergmann (1735, Sweden). Bergmann was one of the most important chemists and mineralogists of the eighteenth century. These very beautiful green crystals can dehydrate into metatorbernite. Either way these are exceptionally rare classic mineral specimens ideal as a cabinet oddity! Price is grade dependant. Items are as shown.Product Data
